What a fascinating drawing! I will venture two possible interpretations: The first, the spiritual one; a sketch indicating the containing and preserving power of God as He brings us through the fire, molding us and preparing us for Glory. The second, non spiritual one; a diagram showing how to use heat to release a dust bunny from an ice cube. Nice work.
HPL, thank you for your thoughts. as a poet, i am always inspired by spiritual and nonspiritual ideas. this drawing is definatley about refinement of self, yet more about the sadness we feel, at times, when having to part with things we have found comfort in for years. i also tried to convey the simplicity of such an idea. although we, in our selfinshness, complicate refinement, it is quite simple in nature: let God... so i am glad that you felt those things from this image. i am encouraged.
