pisa
as he approached the streets
empty walls put away
four hundred gates
without ringing sundown
swung back
and went in
empty walls put away
four hundred gates
without ringing sundown
swung back

I always like how your short poems say so much. You should try to do a series of short poems that are loosly interrelated.
that is a great idea, and a great challenge. one short poem is hard enough.
i think i will give that a try.
